Basic Seminar: Sustainable Sanitation in Development Cooperation
The two-day seminar gives an introduction to the various aspects of sanitation in development cooperation. Particular emphasis will be placed on socio-cultural differences and different technical solutions. On the basis of numerous case studies, the typical problems in project implementation will be clarified and approaches to solutions will be pointed out.
The course language is German.

Objectives
After the seminar, the participants should have an overview of the different aspects of sanitation, know the basics of methods for sustainable project implementation and recognise the importance of sanitation for the SDGs.
Target group
The target group for this seminar are employees of non-governmental organisations as well as other interested persons who carry out projects in the sanitary sector or with sanitary components in developing and emerging countries.
