Global WASH Cluster

The Global WASH Cluster (GWC) is the global coordination platform for the key actors engaged in humanitarian WASH assistance. Its role and responsibilities are designated by the United Nations Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC).

As a member German Toilet Organization (GTO) is actively engaged in the Cluster. Johannes Rück is represented in the Technical Working Group “Markets & Cash”. GTO organised and moderated GWC Annual Meeting 2018 in Berlin.

GTO´s work to improve humanitarian WASH coordination is carried out under the roof of the German WASH Network and contributes to the implementation of the German Federal Foreign Office's strategy for humanitarian WASH assistance.
