Winners are Selected

Until April 1, schools were able to submit their proposals for the German “Toiletten machen Schule” competition. We were impressed by the number, variety and creativity of submissions we received. In total, 80 schools from all over Germany sent us their concepts and ideas about how they want to improve their toilets at school sustainably.

On the 8th of May, it was up to the jury to compare and evaluate all concepts. Alongside members of GTO, parents and student representatives and experts from our supporters Knorr Bremse Global Care, CWS-boco, Villeroy & Boch and the brand Domestos from Unilever formed part of the jury.

The decision was not easily made, since many outstanding and thoughtful concepts were among the submissions. However, after long discussions and hours of consulting, the jury finally came to an agreement and three best concepts were selected.

The winners will be announced on the 4th of June as part of the award ceremony in Berlin. All details about the ceremony, the winners and their concepts will follow soon.
